Requirements

  • Strong Guidewire experience, specifically within PolicyCenter transformation programmes
  • London Market Insurance exposure
  • Experience in business analysis within insurance transformation projects
  • Relevant experience aligned to process design, product design, or data workstreams depending on the role
  • Ability to work in a London hybrid environment, with 2-3 days onsite

Responsibilities

  • Review current as-is processes and define improved to-be processes across underwriting, endorsements, quoting, renewals, and delegated authority
  • Develop process improvements to reduce complexity and operational exceptions
  • Provide guidance on Guidewire out-of-the-box functionality versus required customisation
  • Produce fit/gap analysis and process impact assessments
  • Support governance frameworks and backlog structure
  • Assess current product structures, variants, and taxonomy
  • Facilitate workshops with underwriting and business teams
  • Define product rationalisation approaches to reduce complexity
  • Capture endorsements, rating structures, and product rules
  • Provide recommendations aligned to Guidewire out-of-the-box capability
  • Gather and define data requirements across migration and analytics
  • Define scope for data governance, integrity, and compliance
  • Identify risks and benefits across data migration and reporting
  • Support RFP documentation and vendor engagement
  • Work with stakeholders across business, IT, and data teams

We are supporting a London Market Insurance client on three Business Analyst contract opportunities within a major Guidewire PolicyCenter transformation programme. The roles are based in London on a hybrid basis, with 2-3 days onsite, offering a day rate of £420-£450 per day inside IR35. These are initial 4-month contracts with a strong likelihood of extension, and we are progressing suitable candidates immediately.
