A BIM Coordinator is required to join a leading engineering consultancy with a strong presence across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a growing BIM and Digital Engineering team, supporting the delivery of major infrastructure projects across the Highways, Rail, Power & Energy and Civil Infrastructure sectors. You will play a key role in coordinating information management processes, supporting multidisciplinary engineering teams, and ensuring BIM standards and digital delivery requirements are implemented consistently across projects.

Working within a collaborative BIM environment, you will support project teams with design coordination, information management, quality assurance and BIM best practice, while helping drive continuous improvement across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate design information and BIM deliverables across projects, ensuring alignment with client and project requirements.
  • Apply company and project BIM standards, supporting audits, validation procedures and quality checks.
  • Support project teams in understanding BIM requirements, workflows and digital delivery processes.
  • Identify, manage and resolve coordination issues using appropriate BIM tools and methodologies.
  • Take a leading role in the development and maintenance of Revit families, templates and content libraries.
  • Assist in the preparation and management of BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), Task Information Delivery Plans (TIDPs) and associated BIM documentation.
  • Support mentoring and knowledge-sharing initiatives across the BIM team.
  • Participate in BIM working groups and continuous improvement activities.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of digital delivery processes and BIM best practice throughout the business.

Essential Requirements

  • Typically 5+ years' experience in a BIM Coordinator, BIM Technician or similar role.
  • Experience delivering BIM coordination on infrastructure projects.
  • Previous experience working within sectors such as: Highways, Rail, Power & Energy, Bridges & Structures, Drainage, Civil Engineering, Major Infrastructure.
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering projects involving civil, structural and infrastructure design teams.
  • Strong understanding of ISO 19650 and relevant BIM standards.
  • Proficiency in: Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work across multiple projects and support multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Experience working with BIM documentation, including BEPs, TIDPs and project information requirements.

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Experience supporting BIM audits and quality assurance reviews.
  • Active involvement in BIM-related training, CPD, forums or industry groups.
  • Knowledge of Bentley software packages.
  • Knowledge of wider Autodesk software suites.
  • Experience supporting Digital Engineering and Information Management initiatives.
  • Exposure to Common Data Environments (CDEs) such as ProjectWise, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or similar platforms.
