We’re looking for a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician, specialism in Carpentry, to join our Property Team at Bedruthan and Scarlet Hotels. This role is essential to ensuring the comfort and safety of our guests and staff by carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance across both hotels, spas, guest areas, and project works. You’ll work independently and as part of a team, taking pride in delivering high-quality results while maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide an exceptional standard of building services (planned and reactive) within a commercial and hospitality setting.
- Undertake general handyman and semi-skilled tasks, including minor building fabric repairs, decorating, plumbing, and basic electrical repairs.
- Prioritise tasks effectively and complete work to a high standard.
- Maintain a clean and tidy workspace during and after tasks.
- Interact professionally with guests and staff.
Qualifications:
- One main trade qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3, City & Guilds).
- Strong technical knowledge and experience in maintenance roles.
