Our ideal candidate gets stuck into any task, providing the assistance and preparation that enables our award-winning chefs to deliver fantastic dishes encouraging our guests to sample the finer things in life. Attention to detail and a good work ethic is a must. Our kitchen champions sustainability, minimises waste, and focuses on high quality local produce. You will have high standards, and enjoy being an essential part of a hard working team, thriving in a busy working environment. The ambitious and willing can progress through the ranks in our two rosette kitchen.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure basic cleaning jobs are carried out as quickly and efficiently as possible.
- Collect and wash up kitchen crockery and utensils.
- Clean food preparation areas and equipment, in addition to crockery and cutlery.
- Unload food and equipment deliveries.
- Keep the storeroom organised.
- Keep work surfaces, walls and floors clean and sanitised.
- Uphold high levels of food safety and hygiene.
Qualifications:
Although experience is not normally essential, some experience of the kitchen environment and typical kitchen hours would be beneficial. H&S and COSHH training will be provided. This role will equip you with many of the basic skills and training needed to start your career - for the ambitious this role could be the start of your Chef journey with us.
