The predicted salary is between 31650 - 43607 £ per year.
Part time, permanent Grade 5 22.5 hours, Provision open 50 weeks a year (closed for 2 weeks at Christmas). Holiday to be booked and can be taken at anytime during the year subject to approval (post is not term time only) £25,187 (FTE). Working pattern: Monday to Thursday 1.00pm-5:45pm and Friday 1.00pm-4:30pm.
To support the delivery of high-quality care and early learning experiences within the preschool, ensuring children are safe, supported and engaged in meaningful learning aligned to the EYFS framework.
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Organised and reliable, with strong attention to detail.
- A good communicator, both verbally and in writing.
- Willing to learn and take on a variety of tasks.
- Has experience of working with children.
- Has a good level of literacy and numeracy.
- Is patient, engaging, caring and creative.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Promote safeguarding and follow Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) procedures.
- Support delivery of play‑based learning activities.
- Contribute to planning and observations.
- Act as a key person where appropriate.
- Support children’s communication, social development and independence.
- Assist with daily routines (meals, personal care, transitions).
- Support setting up and maintaining learning environments.
- Ensure resources are safe and appropriate.
- Support children with additional needs.
- Promote inclusive practice and positive behaviour.
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum of Level 2 which meets the criteria for working in an Early Years setting and a willingness to work towards Level 3.
- English & Maths Grade 4+ (or willingness).
