We're looking for a General Manager for a community pub in Brough. Salary up to £42,000 plus bonus and a generous benefits package. About the pub
The Red Hawk is a community pub boasting a village location within a small shopping area in Brough. Delighting guests with our community menu as well as a front‑of‑house pizza oven, this pub comprises one main bar running the full length of the pub. At one end is the bar area with Sky & TNT sports, a pool table and a darts board. The other end offers a dining area including booths with TVs for guests to enjoy a family dining experience. Outside, there is a patio area as well as a beer garden to maximise sales during the summer months. There are also areas of the pub that can be zoned off to maximise small function trade. The Red Hawk currently trades at an average of £21,000 per week in net sales, with a sales mix of 65/35 in favour of wet sales.
This pub offers the perfect platform for an experienced General Manager with a track record of driving sales through engaging with the local community and executing a strong sales plan that appeals to local guests. The successful candidate will be a passionate sports operator with a natural flare for networking and community engagement to enhance the success of this business. Management accommodation is available in the form of a 3 bedroom flat directly above the pub.
