Join Red Hat Consulting and lead the on-site delivery and implementation of cutting-edge technologies that empower customers with freedom, flexibility, choice, and performance. As an Infrastructure Consultant in the UK, you will work closely with our customers to understand their infrastructure and business needs, delivering tailored recommendations and technical solutions. You will leverage your deep expertise in cloud technologies in a dynamic, fast-paced environment to drive adoption of Red Hat’s open source solutions. Requires active SC clearance or eligibility and willingness to get.
What You Will Do
- Act as a subject matter expert on-site, addressing customers’ technical, developmental, and strategic IT requirements.
- Lead efforts in problem identification, system architecture design, software specification, testing, and deployment.
- Recommend and implement open source solutions to solve complex business challenges.
- Continuously learn and apply new technologies to meet evolving customer needs.
- Effectively respond to incidents, escalations, and critical issues.
- Provide clear, actionable recommendations aligned with Red Hat’s technologies.
What You Will Bring
- Proven experience in Linux system administration and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, or similar container platforms.
- Strong background in enterprise cloud implementations and business impact assessments.
- Experience with virtualization technologies in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with cloud management tools and platforms.
- Proficient in automation technologies such as Red Hat Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Strong communication skills to convey value, progress, and project metrics to stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving, project management, and planning abilities.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 25-50%.
