The Red Hat Customer Marketing team is looking for an agile, decisive, data-driven Marketing Manager to manage and execute multi-touch marketing programs for the Global Public Sector (GPS) across Europe, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America. This is a critical role designed to support sales in a complex, matrixed global organisation, acting as the Go-To-Market lead and functional SME by centralising GPS marketing intelligence. As a hands-on role, you will be expected to identify key requirements, make decisions, and roll up your sleeves to ensure the plan's execution. The role requires the ability to propose and drive a tactical strategy, providing clarity and guidance for multi-touch plans that focus on demand generation and deal acceleration to ensure full end-to-end campaign deployment and achieve functional sales revenue goals.
What you will do:
- Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Global Public Sector marketing. Synthesize input from regional sales and marketing teams, data analysis, and market trends to propose and own the functional GTM plan and priorities.
- Proactively define and drive focus areas for Red Hat investment by translating key Public Sector opportunities (e.g., Tax/Revenue modernization, critical infrastructure) into concrete, multi-touch campaign plans.
- Define the required assets, foundational messaging, and high-impact campaigns needed to win, and ensure standardized excellence in their deployment.
- Coordinate with Field Marketing, Marketing Operations, Technology, ABM and Digital teams to identify opportunities to streamline execution, and maximize effectiveness of the Public Sector vertical marketing.
- End-to-end execution: This role demands a strong bias for action. You will personally ensure the hands-on creation, deployment, and follow-through of key marketing plans focused on demand generation and deal acceleration.
- Collaborate closely with global and regional sales teams to integrate marketing program within sales planning, training, and execution processes and measure campaign performance.
- Manage the GPS marketing budget and resources to maximize effectiveness and align with functional goals.
What you will bring:
- 5-7+ years of Public Sector marketing experience and an understanding of its budgetary, regulatory, and political dynamics.
- B2B marketing experience, ideally in the enterprise software or cloud technology industry.
- Proven ability to recognize emerging market trends and opportunities based on experience and data, and the skill set to rapidly construct a viable, data-driven marketing plan around them (e.g., identifying Tax modernization as a focus area).
- Ability to thrive within an ambiguous environment with many stakeholders. You must be capable of making decisions, establishing baselines where none exist, and defining the "needs" rather than just managing existing requests.
- Demonstrated success leading a virtual team and influencing stakeholders across multiple countries, languages, and cultures (EMEA, APAC, LATAM) without direct reporting structures to achieve a unified execution vision.
- Proven ability to recognize emerging market trends and opportunities based on experience and data, and the skill set to rapidly construct a viable marketing strategy around them (e.g., identifying Tax modernization as a focus area).
- Experience developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns using digital tactics, events, webinars and emails as well as content creation having had to manage multiple marketing programs simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and data-driven analytical skills coupled with experience ensuring marketing programs are insights-based and measurable.
- Experience working in close partnership with sales.
- Data-driven, insights-based marketing expertise.
