The Red Hat Enterprise Sales team is looking for an Enterprise Account Executive to join us in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing revenue within the Defense Sector vertical, focused on the Ministry of Defense, the Defense Industrial Base and the Prime Partners. In this role, you will be responsible for driving our customers and partners to create new business and IT transformations using Red Hat services and solutions. You will gain an understanding of our customers’ processes, needs, and challenges.

What you will do:

  • Developing and executing a growth strategy for the Defense Primes.
  • Cultivate C-Level executive relationships within the aligned organizations to position Red Hat as a strategic partner to their business.
  • Develop an Ecosystem strategy and translating Red Hat’s sales strategy into a relevant defense strategy.
  • Apply knowledge of relevant mission use cases and strategic offerings in order to build value propositions.
  • Collaborate with the in-country defense account teams to co-create Success and Growth Plans, understanding how the customer derives value from Red Hat’s solutions to support expansion and retention to form a Defence Strategy.
  • Investigate, select and participate in relevant trade associations working on defense and security issues.

What you will bring:

  • Strong domain expertise in the defense space, with proven experience with defense partner ecosystem and armed forces.
  • 10+ years of enterprise software sales experience with a demonstrable record of success within Defence projects.
  • An existing network in the public and private defence sector with software defined defence background.
  • Relevant clearance to support client engagements.
  • The role requires the ability to work cooperatively and effectively in a complex environment where flexibility and influencing skills are essential.
  • Motivated and result-oriented with the ability to perform within a fast-paced environment.
  • Skill presenting to small and large groups of mixed audiences, including business, technical, management, and leadership teams.
  • Fluent language skills in English.
