Interim Employee Relations Lead
A successful, growing organisation based in Greater Manchester are looking to add an Interim ER Lead to their people team for a fixed period of 3 months.
The role, reporting into the People Director, is designed to assist, lead and support a newly formed team of Employee Relations Advisors as the business embarks on a new Employee Relations strategy.
Awaiting a newly appointed Head of Employee Relations, this role's purpose is to ensure that individual has as soft a landing as possible and the existing team are able to support the company as the new team's reputation extends across the business.
You'll be skilled and adept at quickly forming relationships with managers and colleagues, Alongside this you will be able to deal with:
- Complex Case Management: Act as the top escalation point for high-risk grievances, disciplinarians, harassment claims, and tribunal preparations.
- Leadership & Coaching: Mentor, and lead by example an internal team of ER Advisors
- Policy & Strategy: Partner with senior leaders to shape progressive policies, frameworks, and change management projects.
- Data & Risk Analysis: Track workplace trends to spot repeat issues, design training, and improve overall manager capability.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Deep knowledge of current Employment Law, compliance standards, and risk mitigation.
- Strong conflict resolution, mediation, and stakeholder influencing skills.
- Extensive background in HR or specialised employee relations leadership, managing sensitive multi-party cases.
- High degree of discretion, professional integrity, and sound judgment under pressure
