Our international client in the UK is looking for a Solution Enterprise Architect to join their team for a freelance B2B contract that is 6-12 months with a high chance of extension. This position is hybrid in the London office.

- Location: Hybrid in London (2-3 days a week on site, rest remote)
Main Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Designing and implementing architecture solutions that align with the overall technology strategy and architecture.
- Ensuring that the solutions are scalable, secure, and cost-effective.
- Working with engineering teams to ensure that the solutions are delivered as designed and meet the business requirements.
- Providing technical guidance and support to the development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Promoting innovation and best practices in architecture and technology.
Main Skills:
- Strong expertise in solution architecture, with a focus on applications and integration.
- Experience with modern technologies and frameworks, re-platforming, and data migration, data extraction from operational systems, data curation, data reconciliation, data events and integration skills.
- Policy & Payment Data Migration - Experience with integration data flows, supporting rewrite of all digital journeys, via API integration to target core platform.
- Experience in the insurance industry, experience with core insurance platform knowledge.
- Deep understanding of the technical components and integrations related to core commercial insurance, including quote and buy, claims, pricing, billing, and payments.
- Experience in ensuring that feeds out of the system can provide data to downstream analytical and financial data consumers.
- Understanding of legacy data flows through the mainframe parts of the system being replaced.
- Expertise in rebuilding the customer digital experience.
- Ability to engage with engineering teams through the lifecycle and provide technical guidance and support.
