Role: Release Manager
Location: Basildon
Mode: Onsite (5 Days/Week)
Overview:
Seeking an experienced Release Manager (8–12 years) to lead software release cycles for a large-scale cloud-based platform built on Java Spring Boot and Microservices (AWS). The ideal candidate will have strong coordination, planning, and technical skills to ensure smooth, timely, and high-quality releases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage release timelines and dependencies
- Coordinate across Dev, QA, Ops, and Product teams
- Mitigate risks and manage change processes
- Oversee AWS cloud deployments and ensure compliance
- Drive CI/CD automation and process improvements
- Monitor releases, report metrics, and resolve issues
- Manage release calendar, merge validations, and CAB presentations
- Lead Go/No-Go calls and post-release reviews
- Maintain documentation and ensure audit compliance
Preferred Skills:
- AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect)
- Docker, Kubernetes, and monitoring tools experience
- Strong architectural knowledge (Kafka, AWS DMS/EKS/SCT, CloudFormation, ECS)
