Responsibilities
- Design and deliver SAP MDG solutions for Material Master Data
- Translate functional requirements into technical MDG designs
- Configure and develop data models, workflows, BRF+ rules and DCR processes
- Design and implement integrations between MDG and SAP/non-SAP systems
- Provide technical leadership on solution architecture, feasibility and design decisions
- Support testing, defect resolution and technical issue analysis
- Ensure solution stability, scalability, security and clean-core compliance
- Drive data quality, governance and auditability
- Collaborate with functional SMEs and business stakeholders
- Support technical teams and end users through documentation and training
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP MDG - Material Master
- SAP MDG configuration, customization and data modelling
- Workflow design and BRF+ rule development
- ABAP development for enhancements/custom developments
- SAP S/4HANA integration across on-premise, cloud and hybrid environments
- SAP BTP integration and analytics
- Integration technologies: SAP CPI, PI/PO, APIs, IDocs and Web Services
- Experience with DCR / Change Request processes
- Data migration, harmonization and data quality management
- Strong understanding of Material Master processes and data governance
- Experience designing scalable technical solutions and minimizing customizations
- Understanding of security, compliance and auditability for master data solutions
- Ability to translate functional requirements into technical solutions and work with functional SMEs.
