Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP HCM modules with a primary focus on UK Payroll.
- Manage end-to-end payroll cycles, including schema, PCR configuration, RT, and payroll control processes.
- Ensure alignment with all UK statutory requirements such as HMRC, RTI, FPS, EPS, Tax, NI, Pensions, Court Orders, and Year-End activities.
- Handle support tickets, issue resolution, and enhancements as part of daily operations.
- Participate in requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, and testing (Unit, SIT, UAT).
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, HR teams, and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Prepare functional specifications for custom developments and work closely with ABAP developers.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of SAP HCM experience, with at least 5+ years specific to UK Payroll.
- Strong expertise in Payroll Schemas, PCRs, Wage Types, RT tables, and payroll processes.
- Hands-on experience in UK year-end activities and statutory reporting.
- Good understanding of Time Evaluation, Absence/Attendance configuration (advantageous).
- Ability to analyze complex payroll issues and provide effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in agile delivery environments preferred.
