RED now has a new contract opportunity for a Data Product Manager (AI) to join one of our key partners, a leading financial services organisation, for a data & AI transformation programme. The initial contract will be for 6 months with scope for extension based on project delivery. This contract is to start ASAP and will be hybrid, with 3 days per week on-site in Central London.

This role is inside IR35.

Specific skills/experience required:

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience, with a strong track record delivering data platforms and AI-enabled products
  • Broad experience across the full product lifecycle, from strategy and roadmap definition through to execution and optimisation
  • Proven background working with data platforms, analytics tooling, and AI/ML ecosystems (e.g. data lakes/warehouses, feature stores, model pipelines, MLOps)
  • Strong experience in data governance, quality, metadata management, and AI readiness
  • Hands-on ability with SQL, Python, and data visualisation tools to support data-driven decision making
  • Experience delivering AI/ML use cases such as predictive analytics, personalisation, and intelligent automation
  • Previous experience within regulated environments (e.g. financial services/asset management) is highly desirable
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, working across Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Architecture teams
  • Ability to define and communicate product strategy and roadmaps across global teams
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced and evolving environments, particularly within AI and data transformation initiatives
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Able to join within short notice
