Business Analyst - 6 Month Contract Role - Hybrid (London)
On behalf of one of our key partners, RED now has an opportunity for a Business Analyst to join them on a cash equities regulatory change programme.
This is a 6 month contract role, with excellent extension opportunities.
The contract is to start ASAP and will involve 3 days on‑site in London, UK.
Role Responsibility
You will be delivering regulatory and strategic change across Front Office Cash Equities platforms.
As a Business Analyst you will provide strong knowledge of European market structure, order management, STP workflows, and regulatory frameworks including Mi FID II, MAR and SSR.
You will partner with trading, compliance, operations and technology teams to define requirements, analyse data using SQL, support dashboard delivery, and drive end‑to‑end change within complex global organisations.
You will engage with engineering teams on Java‑based applications, architecture, integrations and production issue resolution.
- Specific Skills/Experience
- 5+ years experience as a Business Analyst
- Proven experience with Java and SQL
- EU regulatory market knowledge
- Strong knowledge of cash equity, trading and orders
- Strong stakeholder engagement experience
- Experience with finance is a must
- Strong communication skills in English
