Location – Essex, 5 Days work from office
Sub-Contract – 6 Month Project + Possible Extension
As an Infrastructure CloudOps Engineer you will be a key part of our team that builds manages and optimises cloud infrastructure solutions With a strong emphasis on automated processes and operational excellence you will lead technical initiatives and drive the continuous improvement of our cloud infrastructure Your expertise will help us to deliver innovative financial services experiences to our clients.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Cloud Operations and Infrastructure.
- Proven experience as a technical team lead with the ability to manage and mentor a team of engineers.
Technical Skills:
- In depth knowledge and experience with AWS cloud platform.
- Proficiency in automation and scripting tools such as Terraform Python and Bash a must desirable Ansible.
- Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration tools Docker Kubernetes.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus Grafana and ELK stack.
- Familiarity with CICD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins GitLab CICD.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Self motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Certified Solutions Architect or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect are a plus.
