SAP Procurement Solution Consultant - 12 Month B2B Contract - Hybrid - Stevenage

RED has a new contract opportunity for an experienced SAP S4 Hana Procurement Solution Consultant to join a major enterprise-wide SAP transformation programme.

The initial contract will be for 12 months, with strong potential for extension as part of a long-term transformation initiative.

This contract is to start ASAP and will be delivered on a hybrid basis, with 2 days per week on site in the client's location, near Stevenage.

This role is inside IR35

Specific skills/experience required

  • Proven experience leading procurement solution design and delivery within SAP S4 Hana Sourcing & Procurement environments.
  • Demonstrated experience acting as the Procurement Lead or Solution Consultant on multiple large-scale SAP S4 Hana transformation programmes.
  • Deep understanding of the end-to-end Source-to-Pay (S2P) lifecycle, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, contract management, supplier management, supplier collaboration, invoice management and three-way matching.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP ECC Materials Management and the transition to S4 Hana procurement capabilities.
  • Extensive Fit-to-Standard workshop facilitation experience, with the ability to promote SAP standard functionality and challenge legacy custom processes.
  • Experience designing procurement processes within complex multi-entity, multi-currency global organisations.
  • Strong understanding of supplier master data, spend management, supplier consolidation and procurement governance.
  • Experience working within hybrid landscapes, where SAP S4 Hana coexists with legacy SAP and non-SAP applications.
  • Strong integration awareness across SAP and external solutions, including supplier networks, EDI and third-party platforms.
  • Ability to support solution design decisions, dependency management and cross-functional collaboration across Procurement, Finance, Data, Change and Transformation teams.
  • Familiarity with SAP Ariba, SAP Business Network and broader SAP procurement solutions would be highly beneficial.
  • Exposure to tools such as SAP Signavio, SAP Cloud ALM, Lean IX and Tricentis would be advantageous.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and workshop facilitation skills.
  • Able to start within 2-4 weeks.
