RED now has a new contract opportunity for an AWS Data Engineering Consultant to join one of our key partners on a strategic Cloud Data Platform & Analytics Programme. This contract is to start ASAP and will be hybrid, with 2-3 days per week onsite in Knutsford, UK.
Specific skills/experience required:
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS data services including S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, Athena, EMR and DynamoDB
- Proven experience designing, implementing and troubleshooting enterprise-scale data pipelines
- Strong expertise in ETL/ELT frameworks and data integration solutions
- Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark or PySpark
- Experience reviewing code and resolving issues across distributed data processing environments
- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or CloudFormation
- Strong understanding of data modelling, metadata management, data quality and cloud data architectures
- Experience supporting vector databases and AI-driven data solutions is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Candidates must be located in the UK.
