The main aim of this role is to support our Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). A Redgate EA’s top priority is to help their Executive achieve business goals by making sure they work as efficiently and effectively as possible. Additionally, the ideal candidate will collaborate with others in the PA team, contributing positively to a business culture focused on high performance and results. Achieving work-life balance has never been more important and so Redgate has adopted a flexible‑hybrid model. For this role, we’re looking for candidates who live close to our Cambridge office and can work in the office once per week.
Your work at Redgate:
- Organise the Exec’s time optimally, acting as a gatekeeper
- Proactive calendar management including complex scheduling
- Monitor the Exec’s incoming communications, filtering and prioritising to minimise distractions
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with the PA team to help achieve business goals, which could also include tasks for the leadership team as a whole.
- Support the Marketing function, eg with functional meetings, budgets, objectives
- Ensure smooth daily operations and maintain great working systems
- Prepare pre‑reading materials and accurately document actions and minutes from key meetings as needed, utilising appropriate AI tools.
- Assist with meeting planning and setup, including video conferencing and recording
- Assume responsibility for event management when required, covering planning, logistics, budget oversight, and successful delivery.
- Organise team celebrations and social events for the function, including management of functional budget
- Handle complex travel arrangements for the Exec through Perk, Redgate’s Travel Management Company.
- Process expense claims and reconcile credit card expenditure
- Support the Exec with people management, eg one to one
- Act as a sanity check and sounding board for the Exec; living the values and encouraging them to lead by example
- Be a professional representative of the business when making external connections and networking
- Cross cover PA absence when required
- Act in the best interests of Redgate at all times
- Perform additional duties consistent with the general scope of the role when required
What you bring to the table:
- Experience of working in a C‑suite supporting role
- Confident using MS Office/Office 365, Copilot and Zoom
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks at short notice
- Understand the need for confidentiality and trustworthiness
- Able to challenge managers and flex working approach when needed
- Ability to develop in‑depth knowledge of the company
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Have experience of working in the software industry (desirable)
- Have experience of working in a marketing function (desirable)

Salary: £45‑50,000
