We are looking for a proactive and detail-driven Marketing Specialist / Coordinator / Assistant to join our high-performing, collaborative marketing team. Sitting at the heart of our brand and communications function, this role is ideal for someone ready to step beyond junior support work and take on meaningful ownership of content planning, campaign coordination and events delivery.
Role Responsibilities
This is a pivotal opportunity for a skilled communicator and organised marketing professional to shape how our story is told—across platforms, channels and continents. You'll work closely with colleagues across disciplines to elevate our presence in the global data centre and engineering design landscape—focusing on social media, digital content, events and brand activation across three core objectives:
- Lead generation
- Talent acquisition
- Brand awareness
Key Responsibilities:
- Social Media & Content Creation
- Plan, draft, proofread, and schedule regular social media content across LinkedIn and other relevant channels
- Generate ideas for reactive and planned content that align with business goals and wider campaign themes
- Collaborate with the Creative Lead to brief and deliver visual assets
- Monitor post performance and provide insights to optimise engagement
- Campaign Coordination
- Support planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, and physical touchpoints
- Maintain calendars and timelines to ensure on-time delivery of campaigns
- Liaise with internal stakeholders for campaign content and approvals
- Contribute to post-campaign reporting and recommendations
- Events & Exhibitions
- Coordinate logistics and support for major industry exhibitions such as Data Centre World London 2026
- Liaise with external vendors, venues, and internal attendees to ensure smooth delivery
- Assist with event communications, asset preparation, and lead capture strategies
- Occasionally attend domestic or international events to support onsite
- Website & Digital Management
- Upload and update website content via CMS (e.g. WordPress or similar)
- Work with internal experts to turn ideas into compelling, SEO-informed web copy
- Ensure consistency of tone, style, and accuracy across all digital content
- Team & Reporting
- Collaborate with peers in marketing, business development, and technical departments to gather insights and stories
- Feed into campaign tracking dashboards and internal reporting systems
- Champion brand consistency and uphold quality standards across all channels
Role Requirements
Essential Skills & Experience
- 1–3 years in a marketing role, ideally within B2B or professional services
- Strong copywriting and proofreading abilities
- Confidence in managing social content plans and scheduling tools (e.g. Buffer, Hootsuite, or native platforms)
- Solid organisational skills and attention to detail
- A collaborative mindset and excellent interpersonal communication
- Ability to handle fast-paced workloads and juggle multiple priorities
- Comfortable with data and insights, using metrics to refine approach
Desirable / Advantageous
- Exposure to events coordination and logistics support
- Familiarity with CMS platforms for website editing
- Experience working with designers or creating basic graphics (e.g. Canva, Adobe Express)
- Interest in or awareness of the data centre, engineering, or technology sectors
