We are now seeking a Senior HR Generalist to join us for a 12 month contract (inside IR35), to be based out of our London office.

Role Responsibilities

  • Employee Relations: Guiding management on employee relations including performance management, handling complaints, and managing disciplinary procedures in line with experience.
  • Policy Development: Proactively review and update HR related policies. Create and maintain HR policies to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Process Development: Proactively review & update internal HR processes, ensuring continued development and efficient ways of working.
  • Employee Engagement: Implementing, developing and improving ideas to improve the employee experience and creating employee engagement initiatives.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Working with managers and the Talent Acquisition Specialist in relation to salary offers and promotions, using your knowledge and understanding of the industry and the company to influence and support these discussions. Taking a senior role in relation to payroll and benefits administration.
  • Strategic Planning: Supporting the wider HR team and Head of HR in the designing of the HR strategies and plans, and taking a senior role in the deployment of HR strategies.
  • Data Analysis: Using HR information systems to gather data and metrics where required and provide detailed insights and analysis into this data.
  • Mentoring: Supporting, guiding and developing more junior members of the team, delegating appropriate administrative tasks.
  • Ongoing Education: Continued education of employees and managers within the business across areas of specialism and general HR policies & processes.
  • Supporting the respective owner with:
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Assisting with recruitment processes and managing onboarding for new hires, delegating tasks where appropriate.
  • Training and Development: Supporting in setting up learning and development programs to meet organisational needs and administering training initiatives.

Role Requirements

  • Previous experience in a Human Resources Generalist role (essential).
  • Degree qualified or equivalent HR qualification (desirable).
  • 5 years working experience within a HR environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Outlook, SharePoint and O365 applications.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to prioritise own workload.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, both written and orally.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Experience of web-based HR and project management systems (desirable).
  • General Employment Law knowledge and understanding.
  • Employment relations – conduct & capability.
  • Reliable and discrete and have the ability to handle sensitive and personal information professionally and confidentially.
  • Use of SAP or an Oracle based HR System.
  • Act in an ethical manner and follow the principles of the Ethics Charter and Ethics in Practice Guidelines of the Group.
