Working in the Dressing and Production team within the Creative function, the Midweight Dressing and Production Coordinator will contribute to the Dressing & Production life‑cycle; from concept, buying, production and installation in venue. Workflow will be spread across three workstreams; New Venue Openings, Projects and BAU for both Flight Club and Electric Shuffle hospitality brands. This role also supports our international franchise partners in the US, Australia and Europe.

You will get the opportunity to collaborate with the Interior Design and Programme Team, as well as other internal stakeholders to understand projects needs and work with the Senior Dressing & Production Coordinators to ensure the successful Dressing and Production of all new and existing venues and projects. In this role, you will get exposure across a variety of projects from creatively concepting and dressing our fantastic venues, to developing production items such as our iconic fairground horses, external signage and working model trains.

  • Dressing: Work with the Dressing and Production Team to identify opportunities for where to source venue dressing stock (antiques markets, fairs and specialist sellers). Organise Antique Buying Trips (transport, assistance, storage), working with the team buying calendar in mind. Maintain relationships with key suppliers and create processes for streamlining buying. Work with the warehouse and logistics team on stock in and out, and respond to feedback on low stock levels of categories.
  • Concept Documents: Collaborate with the team in producing Dressing & Production concept documents which are shared with internal teams, external suppliers and international partners. Assist with looking for new and innovative ways to push the dressing and production categories.
  • Workflow: Using the workflow set out by the Dressing and Production Manager, ensure that the relevant steps are planned in for any project or task. Work closely with the Senior Coordinators to update and maintain all relevant documentation (Venue Opening Trackers, Supplier lists, Buying Lists) along the course of the project or task.
  • Production: Work alongside the Production Project Manager and Design department to assist the creation of production guides. Work with the Senior Project Lead, and Production Project Manager to keep suppliers responsible for delivering on time and on budget. Maintain and update production lists for internal and international suppliers. Assist the Senior Project Lead in supplier communication to accurately cost and brief any new items. Maintain relationships with suppliers and communicate any re‑orders of existing items with clarity of budget and delivery expectations. Look for new and competitive ways to improve existing supply chain, as well as assist in sourcing new partnerships that support the growth of the business. Work with the wider team to ensure international partners have appropriate suppliers.
  • Warehouse: Maintain all platforms that require cost reconciliation for dressing items in stock. Collaborate with the Dressing Production Team on programmed crating weeks, ensuring all dressing items are organised and packed sufficiently. Assist the Senior Project Lead with dressing allocation for new and existing venues and projects. Lead Mid‑Small sized Dressing projects. Work with the team to create and maintain Dressing Concepts and Buying for national and international upcoming venues. Assist in organising all relevant resources for Dressing Week. Work with the logistics team to ensure all crated dressing items and production items make it to site. Attendance for installation of dressing items (UK Travel involved). Attendance for installation of production pieces (UK Travel involved).

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Have some previous work experience from a similar role and setting.
  • Have a good understanding of creative studio processes.
  • Have a proven ability to work across multiple work streams and projects concurrently.
  • Have a creative portfolio demonstrating examples of creative processes, styling and involvement in comparable projects.
  • Experience of managing and building relationships with external suppliers to achieve the outcomes required.
  • Be enthusiastic, a team player, confident working under pressure to strict deadlines.
  • Have an ability to work both independently and with supervision cohesively as part of a team.
  • Be able to demonstrate attention to detail and an ability to be flexible within all work matters.
  • Have great communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong working relationships.
  • Have some experience in Adobe creative suite and SketchUp. An understanding of CAD plans is a plus.
  • Have a creative degree (desirable).
