Salary: Β£24,479 β Β£28,000 dependent on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Caseload management: manage a varied portfolio of domestic property claims from first notification to final settlement.
- First notification & assessment: handle initial calls and correspondence, confirming valid grounds to claim.
- Information gathering: collect accurate details and documents needed to progress each claim.
- Policy & liability assessment: assess policy cover, benefits and liability in line with guidelines.
- Settlement negotiation: validate and negotiate settlements within authorised limits.
- Supplier management: appoint and manage suppliers supporting the policyholder.
- Fraud & underwriting awareness: identify and refer suspicious underwriting or potentially fraudulent claims.
- Customer communication: clear updates and progress information throughout the claim.
- Organisation & prioritisation: effective diary management across a busy caseload.
- Target achievement: meet individual and team performance targets.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 12 months in a household or property claims environment. Client will also consider a trainee with strong customer service and organisational skills.
- Excellent customer service and computer skills β confident across multiple systems.
- Active listening and relationship building.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Holds or willing to work towards the CII Certificate β fully funded and supported.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths.
