Senior Third Party Claims Handler Full-time | Permanent Egerton, Bolton | £28,000 – £35,000 depending on experience Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm | Flexible working available If you're an experienced Third Party Motor Claims professional looking for more responsibility, complex files, and greater autonomy, this senior role will suit you. You'll handle higher-value and more technical cases, carry out detailed liability investigations, and play a key role in maintaining quality across the team. What You'll Be Doing: Senior Third Party Claims Handler * Managing a caseload of complex Third Party Vehicle Damage and Property Damage claims * Leading on liability enquiries and making confident, evidence-based decisions * Handling high-value losses and more contentious files * Liaising with solicitors, insurers and accident management companies * Identifying, investigating, and escalating potential fraud * Supporting team members with knowledge sharing and technical guidance * Delivering a consistently high level of service to all parties What You'll Need: Senior Third Party Claims Handler * Minimum 2 years motor claims experience (Third Party or Credit Hire essential) * Proven experience handling complex or high-value TPVD/TPPD files * Strong investigative skills and excellent attention to detail * Ability to manage a busy workload with accuracy * Confident communication and relationship-building skills * CII Certificate (or willingness to complete it with full support) * GCSE English & Maths (C/4 or above) or equivalent What's On Offer: Senior Third Party Claims Handler * Salary from £28k – £35k depending on experience * Support with industry qualifications (including CII) * Enhanced holiday package increasing with service * Birthday day off and seasonal shopping half-day * Holiday sell scheme * Contributory pension * Free on-site parking * Casual dress code + free branded clothing * Cycle to Work scheme * Performance bonus opportunities * Mental health and first aid support * A positive, supportive working environment Apply now to progress your insurance career with a business that backs your development
