A well-established general insurance business, authorised and regulated by the FCA, is looking for an experienced Recovery Claims Handler to join its busy office on the outskirts of Bolton (Egerton) on a full-time, permanent basis. If you have experience in technical motor recovery claims and want a new challenge with a forward-thinking company that supports your career progression and rewards your achievements, this could be the one.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage a caseload of motor recovery claims from first notification through to final settlement
  • Deliver excellent customer service, handling queries and complaints professionally
  • Assess claims accurately and escalate any suspected fraud or irregularities
  • Handle all claims in line with FCA, FOS, GDPR and internal compliance standards
  • Maintain accurate records and support reporting and KPI tracking
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and Team Leaders to manage workload and service levels
  • Support continuous improvement and contribute to team objectives
  • Participate in training and development to build your technical claims knowledge
  • Use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) for day-to-day claims administration
