What the Motor Claims Handler does:
- Own a caseload of third party vehicle and property damage claims from notification to settlement
- Investigate liability and make the call on fault, with the evidence to back it
- Validate and challenge credit hire claims: hire periods, rates, need and mitigation
- Negotiate with solicitors, insurers, accident management and credit hire companies
- Handle high-value and disputed motor claims, not just the straightforward ones
- Spot fraud indicators on motor claims and refer them
Pay and benefits:
- £27,479 to £35,000 depending on motor claims experience (top of the range for strong third party and credit hire claims handlers)
- 35 hours, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. No evenings or weekends. Hybrid after probation
- Fully funded CII and a dedicated in-house motor claims trainer
- 29 days' holiday including bank holidays, rising to 36, plus your birthday off
