Already taking FNOL motor claims or handling accidental damage claims, but tired of lates, weekends and a 24/7 rota? An established, FCA-regulated insurer just outside Bolton wants an experienced Motor Claims Handler for its motor claims team, on a straight 9 to 5.
What the Motor Claims Handler does:
- Take FNOL motor claims, getting the detail right first time and setting honest expectations
- Run accidental damage claims through to settlement: engineers, repairers, salvage, courtesy cars and third parties
- Check cover, investigate liability and make the settlement decision on your own motor claims
- Manage your claims caseload by phone and in writing and keep every file moving
- Be the person policyholders and brokers want to deal with
- Flag fraud indicators on motor claims
Pay and benefits:
- £26,500 to £30,000 depending on motor claims experience
- 35 hours, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. No evenings, no weekends, no on-call. Hybrid after probation

- 29 days' holiday including bank holidays, rising to 36, plus your birthday off
