Role Description The Finishing Joiner role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Manchester Area, United Kingdom.
Day-to-day responsibilities include completing finish carpentry tasks such as fitting doors, skirting, architraves, cabinetry, and other detailed woodwork to a high standard.
The role involves interpreting drawings, measuring and cutting materials accurately, and using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
The Finishing Joiner will prepare surfaces, carry out final adjustments, and ensure all finishes meet project specifications and quality requirements.
The role also includes maintaining a tidy work area, adhering to health and safety guidelines, and coordinating with supervisors, site managers, and other trades to meet deadlines.
Qualifications Strong carpentry skills with proven experience in finish carpentry for residential or commercial projects.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and accurately for detailed joinery work.
Experience with framing and structural preparation to support high-quality finishing work.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, measure precisely, and work to tight tolerances.
