We have a fantastic opportunity for a well-established and growing business based in St Albans. This is a fast-paced and varied role, supporting a busy sales team and ensuring the smooth running of customer accounts and order processes. Due to the location of the office, candidates will need to be able to drive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing customer orders accurately and maintaining up-to-date records
  • Managing customer accounts, including order updates, amendments and tracking
  • Acting as a key point of contact for customer queries, providing excellent service
  • Communicating with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure smooth order fulfilment
  • Producing regular reports on order status and sales activity
  • Coordinating with logistics and warehouse teams to support deliveries and stock management
  • Investigating and resolving any discrepancies or issues with orders or stock
  • Processing returns and credit notes in a timely manner
  • Supporting the wider team with general administration and ad-hoc tasks

What The Client Is Looking For

  • Previous experience in a Sales Administrator or similar role
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive and customer-focused approach
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience with order processing or CRM systems would be beneficial
