We are recruiting for a Senior Business Development Executive to join an established and forward-thinking logistics company in St Albans. If you have previous sales experience, an interest in commerce and want to take the next step in your career journey, then this is the opportunity you have been seeking!
Working in a team of 5, the successful candidate will proactively develop new business and build and nurture existing client relationships to maximise the potential.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a level of 100+ targeted new business calls per week.
- Build strong personal relationships with new and existing clients.
- Negotiate with clients and suppliers.
- Submit quotes, overcome objections and devise conversion strategies to win business.
- Account management.
- Attend a weekly sales meeting.
- Assist with Company marketing projects, for example LinkedIn posts, marketing literature, e-shots.
- Some travel around Europe twice a month once established in the role.
