An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Property Paralegal to join a well-established St Albans law firm, committed to providing exceptional legal services to clients. Their team of dedicated professionals works collaboratively to ensure the highest standards of service in a friendly, supportive and almost paperless environment. We are seeking an experienced Property Paralegal to join a busy and supportive team, reporting to the Head of Property.
What’s in it for you:
- Salary: £25-30k Depending on experience
- Hours: 34.5 hours per week – 9.00 – 5.00 Monday to Thursday and 9.00 – 4.30 on Friday.
- 22 days holiday plus bank holidays

Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and send out Contract Packs
- Order Freehold/Leasehold Management Packs
- Correspond with Management Companies and provide updates to estate agents and clients as required
- Order Redemption Statements
- Assist clients with and reply to enquiries raised
- Exchange Contracts, draft Completion Statements, attend to completion
- Order Searches, review Mortgage Offers, review replies to enquiries, provide updates to estate agents and clients as required
- Draft Transfer Deeds, draft Deed of Covenant
- Carry out pre-exchange searches (priority and bankruptcy), exchange contracts
- Submit Certificates of Title to Lenders
- Draft Completion Statements
- Attend to completion
- Submit SDLT Forms, submit AP1 Forms, prepare and submit First Registration applications, draft RX forms
