A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Part Time Senior Bookkeeper to join a successful and well-established company based in Watford, within the sports industry.\\n\\nYou will own the full Bookkeeping cycle for Purchase Ledger (purchases, payables, bank reconcil­iations, month‑end, Quarter end and YE. You will work alongside the Credit Controller/Sales Ledger coordinator, ensuring consistency in processes.\\n\\nThis is an office-based role.\\n\\nWhat’s in it for you?:\\n\\n * \\n\\n Salary: £25k for 24 hours per week\\n\\n * \\n\\n Hours: 24 hours/week (4 days) – with some flexibility\\n\\n * \\n\\n Free parking\\n\\n * \\n\\n Pension scheme\\n\\n * \\n\\n Perk Box\\n\\nKey responsibilities:\\n\\n· Banking & Cash Management\\n\\no Reconcile multiple bank accounts (GBP, EUR, USD) daily\\n\\no Process credit card expenses monthly (multiple cards)\\n\\no Process payments, receipts, and complex retailer remittance slips (including Amazon rebates/discounts)\\n\\n· Purchase Ledger & Payables\\n\\no Enter supplier invoices, credit notes and expenses\\n\\no Reconcile supplier statements\\n\\no Produce bi‑monthly payment runs\\n\\no Manage import purchases (USD/Euro) including Customs & Excise Duty/VAT\\n\\n· Sales Ledger & Receivables\\n\\no Deal with complex remittance slips from large national retailers and match rebates/discounts including Amazon\\n\\n· VAT & Compliance\\n\\no Prepare and submit VAT returns for 2 UK companies\\n\\no Prepare and submit Netherlands VAT return, including EC Sales, Intrastat and OSS filings\\n\\no External accountant does accruals, depreciation schedules, and balance‑sheet reconciliations. Send quarterly info to external accountant for management accounts\\n\\n· Management Reporting\\n\\no Produce quarterly and EOY info for external accountant\\n\\no Produce quarterly Amazon profit margin report after freight/duty costs included\\n\\no Generate ad‑hoc financial analyses and Excel‑based reports (VLOOKUPs, PivotTables)\\n\\nWhat the employer is looking for:\\n\\n· Qualified Bookkeeper (ACCA/ACMA/ICB or equivalent) with sole‑charge bookkeeping experience\\n\\n· Multi-currency experience a must\\n\\n· Proficient in Sage Line 50 (essential) and advanced Microsoft Excel\\n\\n· Strong understanding of multi‑currency transactions and import duties\\n\\n· Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and professionalism\\n\\n· Confident communicator with a customer‑focused telephone manner\\n\\nRed Door Recruitment is committed to encouraging equality, diversity, and inclusion among our workforce, and eliminating unlawful discrimination.
