We are looking to recruit an experienced Property Compliance Officer to our very successful client in Hendon.

This is a very important position within the business and due to the large size of their property portfolio, they need someone who is genuinely experienced and capable of managing property compliance at scale.

Key responsibilities

  • HMO licensing
  • Selective licensing
  • Additional licensing schemes
  • Other residential property licensing requirements
  • Dealing with different local authorities and understanding their individual requirements
  • Managing compliance across a large property portfolio
  • Monitoring property compliance certificates, licences and renewal dates
  • Identifying compliance gaps and outstanding requirements
  • Working closely with Property Managers to ensure outstanding compliance matters are resolved

What the employer is looking for

  • Proven experience managing compliance across a large property portfolio
  • Strong HMO and selective licensing experience
  • Experience with additional/local authority licensing schemes
  • Experience working with multiple Property Managers
  • Strong knowledge of UK residential property compliance
  • Experience using Pro Pack or a similar property compliance system
  • Excellent organisational and follow-up skills
  • The ability to manage large volumes of information, deadlines and properties
  • Confidence challenging and escalating compliance issues when required
  • A proactive approach and strong attention to detail
