A new role has arisen for a Logistics Coordinator to join an established and growing entrepreneurial company based in Letchworth. They are within an exciting and interesting industry that offers a friendly office with a great vibe! This company offers a flexible, supportive environment and there is the potential for future progression as the company grows. This is a busy and varied role where you will be organizing all transportation needs.
Your duties include:
- Collaborating with freight companies to plan deliveries and shipments.
- Coordinating product inventory and storage within warehouses and other logistics sites to optimise efficient inventory movement.

Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with suppliers to confirm shipment dates of all products.
- Book all shipments with the correct freight forwarders, including sea and air freight.
- Obtain cross quotes so company margins are maintained.
- Organise and track all shipments, working with the Operations manager to ensure all shipments will be received in time to hit company milestones.
- Complete all relevant documentation needed for shipments.
- Liaise with all business customers to understand their requirements.
- Process all B2B customer orders and send delivery notes to warehouse to distribute all inventory, this includes Amazon.
- Maintain and track all company inventory.
- Analyse and sign off weekly or monthly warehouse and courier invoices, raising any discrepancies if needed.
- Create all product details on the internal company system (SAGE).
- Create and issue out purchase orders to suppliers for all products and services.
- Maintain process notes for all parts of the role and log onto the company project management system (ClickUp).
What The Employer Is Looking For:
- 2 years minimum logistics experience, including international container movements.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and calm under pressure.
- Commercial awareness – comfortable with numbers and how decisions will impact the business.
- Experience of using Excel.
- Strong interpersonal skills – comfortable working individually and as part of a team.
- Logical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
