HR Insights Consultant | Harpenden | Up to £45k
We have a fantastic opportunity for a growing, ambitious company based in Harpenden. They are looking for a HR Analytics Consultant – someone who is passionate about employee engagement and thrives on turning data into stories that inspire change. They need someone who can confidently consult senior leaders, use data to bring insights to life, and influence how organisations think about engagement.
What’s in it for you?
- Salary: Up to £45k depending on experience
- Hours: Monday – Friday 9am – 5.30pm, Hybrid working on offer (First few months will be predominately office based until established in the role)
- 33 days holiday (includes all public holidays)

Key Responsibilities
- Client Insights & Consulting – Interpret survey data, uncover key themes, create compelling narratives, and present insights that inspire leaders to act.
- Executive Presentations – Deliver high-quality presentations, reports and recommendations to senior leadership teams, senior HR teams, and C-suite leaders.
- Benchmarking & Recommendations – Provide insights into how clients compare against industry benchmarks and make strategic recommendations.
- Engagement Strategy Development – Advise clients on building and evolving their engagement approach, using maturity models and best practice.
- Survey Design – Support clients in crafting meaningful survey questions that align with their engagement goals and our best practice.
- Workshops & Coaching – Facilitate manager sessions and leadership workshops to help clients understand the data, hold meaningful conversations with their teams, and commit to action.
- Client Consulting – Work closely with HR and senior leaders to share best practice and provide strategic insight.
- Project & Relationship Management – Lead Consulting Projects, take ownership of delivering insights projects end-to-end, ensuring deadlines, quality, and client expectations are met.
- Strategic Partnering – Act as the trusted advisor to clients, working closely with CEO, Insights, and Customer Success teams.
- Upselling & Growth Opportunities – Spot opportunities to deepen client relationships and recommend ways we can add further value through our products or services.
- Thought Leadership & Industry Influence – Create articles, reports, and thought pieces.
- Industry Presence – Represent at conferences, webinars, and events, sharing insights and client success stories.
- Client Roadmaps & Strategy Discussions – Contribute to client strategy discussions, using I Engagement Maturity Model, to shape long-term client success.
What the employer is looking for
- 3-5+ years of experience in employee engagement, HR consulting, organisational psychology, or related fields.
- University graduate (2:2 or above) in Business, HR, Psychology, or a related field.
- Experience working in consulting, HR, or employee engagement roles.
- Knowledge of employee engagement, organisational change, and leadership development.
- Strong ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and clear stories.
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, confident in engaging senior leaders and influencing decisions.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; familiarity with data visualisation tools is a plus.
