Overview:
- Purpose of this role is to strategically grow the company's control sales organization and manages the entire national/regional sales activity.
- The Sales Director is responsible for the regional (sales) strategy and therefore needs to be aware of: trends and geo-political trends in their region, available subsidies, upcoming large scale development projects (e.g., new (public) builds).
- The regional Sales Director and regional Sales Operations director align and execute the regional strategy.
- They function as a role-model and coach for the Sales Manager(s), Key Account Manager(s) and Project Sales Manager(s).
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the company’s business strategies to attain the goals of the Global Organization.
- Provide strategic advice to the COO so that they will have accurate view of the market and the company’s future.
- Prepare and implement comprehensive business plans to facilitate achievement by planning cost-effective operations and market development activities in collaboration with marketing and sales-operations.
- Ensure (regional) company policies and legal guidelines are communicated followed.
- Communicate and maintain trusted relationships with strategic accounts, business partners and authorities.
- Strategically manage the regional financial performance.
- Read all submitted reports by lower rank managers to reward performance, prevent issues and resolve problems.
- Act as the ambassador of the organization in ways that strengthen its profile (as a project-business).
- Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth.
