Red D are recruiting a Financial Controller for an exciting new hotel opening in Belfast. This is a rare opportunity to shape the full financial function across a new hotel from pre-opening through to stabilisation. You'll set up the systems, build the controls, and play a key part in the senior team as the hotel launches and grows. This role suits a Financial Controller who enjoys structure, pace, and the challenge of building something from day one.
About the Role
- Lead all pre-opening finance preparation including systems setup
- Establish financial controls, reporting structures, and SOPs
- Own month-end, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Provide financial insights to the General Manager and senior leadership team
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements
- Build and develop the finance function
- Partner with operations to support profitability and cost efficiency
- Play a strategic role during opening and post-opening stabilisation
Qualifications
- Experienced Hotel Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager
