Full Time | Permanent. 37.5 Hours per Week | Monday to Friday. 7:30am-8:00am Start. Location: Winchester / North Hampshire Area.

We are working with a well-established, expanding, engineering parts manufacturer looking to recruit a hands-on and proactive Stock & Logistics Controller to join their team. This role involves an additional, critical responsibility of shop floor health and safety procedures including risk assessments, COSHH, inspections of factory areas etc. An IOSH / equivalent is therefore ESSENTIAL.

This is a varied role suited to somebody from an engineering or machine parts background who is confident managing goods in/out, stock control, logistics coordination, and health & safety responsibilities within a small manufacturing facility. The successful person will be trusted to think independently, manage priorities, and keep operations running smoothly across stores and logistics.

The Role

  • Managing all goods inward and outward processes
  • Receiving, checking, and booking in engineering components and machine parts
  • Picking, packing, and arranging dispatch of finished goods
  • Maintaining accurate stock records and inventory control
  • Conducting stock counts and helping optimise stores organisation
  • Liaising with couriers and preparing shipping documentation
  • Supporting workshop health & safety compliance
  • Carrying out risk assessments and daily safety checks
  • Ensuring PPE and safe working practices are maintained

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience within engineering, manufacturing, machine parts, or industrial environments
  • Counterbalance Forklift Licence essential
  • IOSH qualification required
  • Experience with goods in/out and stock control systems
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative
  • Comfortable working between office, stores, and workshop environments
  • Good communication and practical problem-solving ability
