We are recruiting for a major international composites manufacturer in Bahrain that is expanding several established business units while simultaneously developing a number of new ventures. As part of this growth, we are looking for experienced commercial leaders, business development professionals, and salespeople from across the composites, advanced materials, and associated manufacturing sectors. These are not simply replacement hires. Many of the opportunities involve helping to build new markets, establish new business lines, and create commercially successful ventures from the ground up.
Current Opportunities
- Pultrusion: A new global business focused on manufacturing and selling FRP pultruded products across industrial, oil & gas, marine, and architectural markets. Experience within pultrusion, GRP/FRP profiles, structural composites, or related industrial products would be particularly relevant.
- Wind Energy: We are developing further opportunities within the global wind energy sector, including composite products for nacelles, spinners, and associated infrastructure applications. Candidates with established relationships across wind turbine OEMs, Tier suppliers, or composite manufacturers are of particular interest.
- Advanced Composite Cladding: A developing FRP flat-panel and cladding business offering an alternative to traditional aluminium composite panel solutions. Relevant backgrounds could include architectural materials, façades, cladding, building products, FRP panels, or construction products.
- EV, Battery & Electrical Enclosures: We are building a business focused on advanced composite applications within:
- EV battery enclosures
- Electrical enclosures
- Structural vehicle components
- Specialist transportation and defence applications
Candidates with strong existing relationships with EV manufacturers, automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, defence companies, or organisations such as Thales would be highly attractive.
- Water Treatment & Desalination: An established area with significant growth potential and ambitions to expand across municipal and industrial water treatment globally. Experience selling into municipal water treatment, wastewater, desalination, industrial water treatment, or major engineering contractors would be ideal. French language capability and strong relationships within companies such as Veolia would be advantageous.
- Architectural Composites: We are expanding our architectural composites business internationally and are interested in experienced salespeople capable of developing markets across: Middle East, China, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, Scandinavia, UK, France.
We are also recruiting a: Head of Architectural Business. This is a senior Bahrain-based leadership position with responsibility for the strategy, commercial performance, people, and continued international growth of a major business unit. The role will suit a commercially driven senior leader capable of effectively operating as the CEO of the business unit, combining: Strategic leadership, Sales and commercial management, People leadership, International business development, Operational oversight, Growth planning.
US Market Development: We are also interested in sales and business development professionals who can develop manufacturing opportunities with US customers while being based from Bahrain. The focus is on securing outsourced FRP and composite component manufacturing for facilities in Bahrain, India, and the Philippines. Target markets include: Transportation, Marine, Automotive, Wind Energy, Rail, Building & Construction, Industrial, Bath & Pool, Composite Enclosures.
