We’re currently supporting a well-established engineering and fabrication business in Southampton who are looking to bring in an experienced Pipe Fitter to support ongoing workshop and site-based projects.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who’s confident working from drawings and has solid experience fitting pipe systems in an industrial or fabrication environment.
The role will involve:
- Installation and fitting of carbon steel and stainless steel pipework
- Working from isometric drawings and engineering specs
- Fabrication, fitting and alignment of pipe systems
- Supporting pressure testing and final installation works
- Working safely to site and workshop procedures
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter (industrial / engineering background essential)
- Ability to read and interpret isometrics and drawings
- Experience within oil & gas, utilities, process plant, fabrication or similar environments
- Strong attention to detail and safe working practices
