Lead Technology Engineer – FRP Pultrusion Bahrain | International Opportunity | Relocation Support £45000 TAX FREE We are recruiting for an experienced Lead Technology Engineer – FRP Pultrusion to join a leading composite manufacturing business in Bahrain. This is a highly technical, hands-on role for someone with proven expertise in setting up, commissioning, operating and optimising FRP pultrusion / extrusion production lines. The successful candidate will take a lead role in bringing new production capability online, ensuring equipment runs safely, efficiently and consistently, while developing the processes, operating standards and technical knowledge required to achieve stable, high-quality output. Key Responsibilities * Lead the installation, setup and commissioning of new FRP pultrusion / extrusion lines * Establish and optimise process parameters including resin systems, fibre loading, die temperatures, pull speed, cure conditions and line settings * Troubleshoot production issues and resolve problems affecting quality, output, dimensional stability, surface finish and process consistency * Drive improvements in line efficiency, productivity, scrap reduction and overall equipment performance * Develop and implement operating procedures, technical standards and process documentation * Support tooling, die and equipment optimisation * Work closely with production, engineering, maintenance, quality and product development teams * Lead process trials and support the introduction of new products and profiles * Identify root causes of recurring production issues and implement permanent corrective actions * Establish preventative maintenance and process-control requirements * Train and develop operators, technicians and supervisors to ensure production teams can operate equipment safely and independently * Support continuous improvement and technology-transfer initiatives across the manufacturing operation What We’re Looking For * Strong technical experience within FRP / GRP pultrusion manufacturing * Proven experience setting up and commissioning new pultrusion or composite extrusion lines * Detailed knowledge of pultrusion processing, including fibres, reinforcements, resin systems, tooling, dies, curing and process parameters * Demonstrable experience improving line stability, efficiency, throughput and product quality * Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis capability * Experience developing SOPs and technical operating standards * Proven ability to train production teams and transfer technical knowledge to operators * Practical, hands-on approach with the ability to work directly on the production floor * Strong communication skills and the ability to work within an international manufacturing environment * Previous experience supporting greenfield, expansion or new-line commissioning projects would be highly advantageous The Opportunity This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced pultrusion specialist to play a key role in the development and expansion of an advanced composite manufacturing operation in Bahrain.
