Private Family Personal Assistant

We are recruiting for a highly organised and personable Family & House PA to support a private family and help oversee the smooth day-to-day running of their home and wider household activities.
This is a varied and trusted position combining elements of Executive PA support, household management, family logistics, administration and event coordination.
The role would suit someone with a strong background as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, Office Manager, Estate Administrator or similar, who is confident managing multiple priorities, highly discreet and comfortable working closely with a private family.
The successful candidate will need to live within approximately 30 minutes of Fawley, Hampshire.
The Role
You will provide day-to-day support across the household and family, including:
- Managing complex personal and professional diaries
- Coordinating appointments and keeping calendars fully up to date
- Organising domestic and international travel
- Managing confidential correspondence and personal administration
- Maintaining important family documentation, renewals and records
- Supporting household budgeting and general financial administration
- Liaising with household staff, estate teams, contractors and suppliers
- Coordinating staff rotas, priorities and day-to-day requirements
- Supporting household recruitment and onboarding where required
- Coordinating maintenance and household improvement projects
- Maintaining household inventories and records
- Managing family logistics including school, sporting and social commitments
- Arranging transport, appointments and bookings
- Coordinating pet, pony and veterinary appointments where needed
- Driving for the family when required
- Supporting private dinners, family celebrations and social events
- Coordinating guest visits, catering, staffing and event logistics
- Managing online bookings, digital filing systems, spreadsheets and shared calendars
- Liaising with the Estate Office regarding vehicles, insurance and household records
- Providing occasional support outside normal working hours when required
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Exceptionally organised and able to manage changing priorities
- Discreet, trustworthy and comfortable handling confidential information
- Friendly, professional and confident dealing with family members, staff and suppliers
- Proactive and able to anticipate what needs to be done
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership
- Confident using digital calendars, cloud-based filing systems and Excel
- Experienced in diary management, travel coordination and administration
- Flexible and happy working within a busy family environment
- A confident driver
Previous experience working within a private household or estate would be highly desirable, although candidates from a strong Executive PA, Personal Assistant, senior administration or Office Management background will also be considered where the skills are transferable.
Hours
Monday to Friday, 9am 5pm, with flexibility to support occasional weekends or events when required.
