Factory Planning & Flow Architect – Advanced Manufacturing / Composites

Location: Bahrain - Middle East (Relocation Package + Tax-Free Salary)

Type: Permanent

We’re working with a global leader in advanced composites manufacturing, supporting major projects across infrastructure, transport, and industrial sectors. They’re now looking to hire something very different… This is not a traditional planning role. It’s an opportunity to take full ownership of how a factory actually runs.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for designing and controlling the entire production flow—turning customer demand into a fully synchronised, executable factory plan. This means:

  • Building capacity-driven production plans (not guesswork schedules)
  • Modelling manufacturing flow across machines, labour, and materials
  • Identifying and removing bottlenecks
  • Creating daily, weekly, and long-range plans that actually work on the shop floor
  • Reacting in real-time to disruptions and re-optimising output

You’ll work closely with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to build a stable, predictable, high-performance manufacturing system.

What We’re Looking For

We’re not looking for someone who updates ERP systems. We’re looking for someone who understands how factories actually work. You’ll likely come from:

  • Aerospace, automotive, composites, or high-performance manufacturing
  • A background in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or advanced planning

And you’ll bring:

  • Strong experience in capacity planning and production scheduling
  • A deep understanding of manufacturing flow and constraints
  • Advanced Excel / data modelling capability
  • Exposure to lean manufacturing, line balancing, or constraint-based thinking

The Type of Person Who Will Succeed

  • Highly analytical and structured
  • Naturally challenges how things are done
  • Thinks in systems, not tasks
  • Comfortable dealing with complexity and ambiguity
  • Focused on building solutions—not firefighting problems

Why This Role?

  • Genuine opportunity to design and optimise a factory from the inside
  • Work in a complex, engineering-led manufacturing environment
  • High visibility and impact role
  • Tax-free earning potential + relocation support

If you’re currently in a role where you’re constrained by systems, firefighting, or limited influence—this is your chance to step into something far more strategic and impactful.
