We are seeking dedicated and experienced Emergency Medicine Nurses to join our client’s private hospital on a beautiful Caribbean island. This is an exciting opportunity to provide top-tier emergency room medical care while enjoying the tropical paradise lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality emergency medical care to patients in a fast-paced environment.
- Triage patients efficiently and accurately based on medical urgency.
- Perform advanced clinical procedures such as IV insertion, wound care, and emergency resuscitation.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
- Adhere to all healthcare regulations and standards, ensuring patient safety and confidentiality.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
Qualifications:
- Registered Emergency Room Nurse (RN) qualification from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in emergency medicine.
- Currently a member of the Nursing council in either the U.K, U.S, S.A, N.Z, Canada, Australia or Jamaica.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications.
- Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is desirable.
- Strong clinical skills and ability to handle high-stress situations.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
