We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Lead Consultant Radiologist to join our client’s established private clinic based in the stunning Cayman Islands. This is an exciting opportunity for a personable and commercially minded Radiologist to lead and develop the radiology service within a modern, patient-focused clinical environment, while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and clinical excellence. This position would suit a confident clinician who enjoys building strong professional relationships, contributing to business growth, and playing a key role in the continued expansion and reputation of the clinic.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Radiology department and oversee the delivery of high-quality diagnostic imaging services
  • Interpret and report a wide range of diagnostic imaging studies including X-ray, Ultrasound, CT, and MRI
  • Provide accurate and timely radiological assessments to support clinical decision-making across multiple specialties
  • Perform and oversee image-guided procedures where appropriate
  • Work closely with clinic leadership to support service development and business growth initiatives
  • Build and maintain strong referral relationships with physicians, specialists, and external healthcare providers
  • Deliver an exceptional patient experience through strong communication and a personable, patient-centred approach
  • Support and mentor radiology staff, radiographers, and allied healthcare professionals
  • Maintain high standards of imaging quality, patient safety, and radiation protection protocols
  • Participate in clinical governance, quality assurance initiatives, and strategic planning for the clinic

Requirements:

  • Medical Degree (MD or equivalent) from a recognised institution
  • Board Certification or equivalent specialist qualification in Radiology
  • Valid, unrestricted medical licence or eligibility for licensure in the Cayman Islands
  • Significant post-training experience in diagnostic radiology within a hospital or private clinic setting
  • Previous leadership or departmental management experience preferred
  • Demonstrated expertise across multiple imaging modalities
  • Commercial awareness and an interest in service development/business growth
  • A personable, professional, and collaborative approach with excellent communication skills
  • Fellowship training or subspecialty interest is advantageous but not essential

Registration Eligibility:

  • Must be eligible for medical registration in the Cayman Islands
  • Provisional registration is available for applicants who qualified in Australia, Canada, Jamaica, New Zealand, South Africa, the UK, or the USA
