We are currently hiring a Phlebotomist in our client's new state of the art hospital in the beautiful Caribbean. This is an exciting opportunity to provide top-tier medical care while enjoying the tropical paradise lifestyle. Earning a tax-free salary along with an attractive relocation package.
You will be responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely collection of blood and other specimens for diagnostic testing, therapeutic phlebotomy and donor blood collection in accordance with international standards (JCI, WHO, infection control, and laboratory best practices). The role ensures patient safety, specimen integrity, and a high standard of patient care and experience.
Responsibilities:- Collect blood samples via venipuncture and capillary techniques
- Prepare, label, and document specimens accurately
- Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety during procedures
- Verify patient identity and maintain detailed records
- Follow strict hygiene, infection control, and safety protocols
- Communicate clearly with patients, especially those nervous or anxious
- Transport samples to laboratory according to protocol
- Education: Diploma / Certification in Phlebotomy (ASPT or equivalent)
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years in a clinical laboratory setting
- Licensure: Valid professional license (local authority / eligibility)
