Be part of something extraordinary! Join us for our iconic 5-star hotel opening of 100 Princes Street in Edinburgh, Scotland. We are looking for a Kitchen Porter. This is a full-time role and will be reporting into the Head Chef.

Working pattern: 4 days on 4 days off / 8am to 8pm

We are looking for someone who has previous experience in a similar role in a hotel/kitchen environment.

As a Kitchen Porter you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting the kitchen team in preparing and cleaning the kitchen areas before, during and after service.
  • Operating the pot-washing machinery.
  • Maintaining a hygienic working environment while washing dishes, flatware, cutlery, crockery, kitchen vessels, sweeping and mopping floors.
  • Ensuring floors are dry and clean at all times.
  • Assisting the chefs and servers when necessary.
  • Checking cleaning inventory.
  • Loading and unloading the dishware.
