This is a full-time role and will be reporting into the Senior Chef de Partie and Head Chef.

Working pattern: Shift work / Monday to Sunday / 5 days per week with 2 days off / rotas are done on a weekly basis.

We are looking for someone who has previous experience in a similar culinary hotel environment.

As a Commis Chef you will be responsible for:

  • Cooking food and preparing top-quality menu items in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring that mise-en-place for food preparation is completed in your section.
  • Ensuring ingredients are of the highest quality in daily preparation and keeping up to date with new products, recipes and preparation techniques.
  • Informing Head Chef of excess food items for use in daily specials.
  • Operating all kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.
  • Preparing fresh ingredients for cooking according to recipes/menu.
  • Supporting the Senior Chef de Partie in the daily operation and work.
