We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Shift Engineer to join our Maintenance Department at our luxury hotel. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on individual with a strong technical background to play a key role in maintaining our property and ensuring a safe, comfortable experience for all guests and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out repair or maintenance issues throughout the hotel as they arise.
- Perform preventative maintenance.
- Paint public and back-of-house areas.
- Be responsible for all tools, materials and sundries used in connection with main duties.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Shift Engineer or Handyperson, ideally in a luxury hotel environment.
- Able to react, diagnose and solve issues safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
- Enjoys lone working as well as being part of a wider team.
- Passionate about guest experience.
- Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
